Privacy policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
This policy explains how FindGuides handles information when you visit findguides.site. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we do not run trackers, and we do not sell or share personal data.
Who we are
FindGuides is an independent publisher of travel and outdoor gear guides. For any privacy question, email us at contact@findguides.site.
What we collect
FindGuides is a static website. We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, tag managers or social embeds, and we do not ask you to create an account or submit a form. We do not collect names, email addresses or payment details through the site.
The only data stored on your device is a single cookie that remembers your cookie choice. It is described in our cookie policy. It stays on your device and is not sent to any third party.
Server logs
The site is served by a hosting provider that may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This is normal infrastructure logging that we do not control or use to build a profile of you. If you would like detail on your host-level rights, contact us and we will point you to the provider's policy.
If you email us, we receive your message and your email address so we can reply. We keep correspondence only as long as needed to deal with it, and we do not add you to any list.
External links
Our guides link to other sites, including the source and licence pages for the photographs we use. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. This policy applies only to findguides.site.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data a business holds about you. Because we hold almost none, the practical step is usually to clear the cookie in your browser. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and we will remove it.
Children
FindGuides is a general-audience publication and is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect. If we ever add analytics or advertising, we will update this policy and our cookie list first.
